1. Photodiodes, Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), and Optocouplers:
Photodiodes are semiconductor devices that convert light into electrical current. LEDs, on the other hand, emit light when current passes through them. Optocouplers use a combination of LEDs and photodiodes to isolate electrical signals between two circuits.
2. BJT Biasing: Fixed Bias, Collector-to-Base Bias, Voltage Divider Bias:
Biasing is a technique to establish the operating point of a bipolar junction transistor (BJT). Fixed bias uses a resistor to provide base current, collector-to-base bias employs a voltage divider for biasing, and voltage divider bias is a more stable configuration for proper BJT operation.
3. Operational Amplifier Application Circuits:
Operational amplifiers (op-amps) are versatile integrated circuits used in various applications. Multivibrators using IC-555 generate square wave or pulse signals. Peak detectors capture the maximum value of an input signal. Schmitt triggers are used to create digital square wave signals from analog inputs. Active filters shape frequency response. Non-linear amplifiers modify input-output relationships. Relaxation oscillators generate periodic waveforms.
4. Current-to-Voltage and Voltage-to-Current Converters:
Current-to-voltage converters, also known as transimpedance amplifiers, convert an input current to an output voltage. Voltage-to-current converters do the reverse, converting an input voltage to an output current.
5. Regulated Power Supply Parameters, Adjustable Voltage Regulator:
Regulated power supplies provide stable voltage outputs despite fluctuations in input or load conditions. Adjustable voltage regulators allow users to set the output voltage as needed.
6. D to A and A to D Converters:
Digital-to-analog converters (DACs) convert digital signals to analog voltages, useful in applications like audio systems. Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) convert analog signals to digital data, allowing microcontrollers and computers to process real-world inputs.
These topics collectively provide an in-depth understanding of various electronic components and circuits used in analog electronics. They are essential for anyone studying electronics, electrical engineering, or related fields to build a solid foundation in designing and analyzing electronic systems.
Course Faq
- Can we download the notes?
Yes, you can download the notes by going to the Module Topics and clicking on the View/Download Module Notes.
- How often notes are updated on AcquireHowTo?
We try our best to provide update notes to our users, so we keep updating them once a week.
- Do you provide only one specific university note?
No, Our team tries to work hard to provide notes from multiple universities like VTU, IP, DTU, Amity, etc, and from multiple courses like B.E, B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, etc.
- Do the Notes you provide belongs to you?
No, the notes we provide belong to the only creator of that notes. May some note belongs to us but not all. AcquireHowTo is a notes providing platform that provide notes from different sources at one place to help the students.
